The P-51D Mustang was considered one of the more formidable fighter planes
of the Second World War and is still considered to be one of the finest
propeller-driven aircraft ever put into production.
This tiny kit was built as part of ScaleHobby.com's "Military Wings 2009 Recession-Buster Build-Along." It was built "out-of-box" with the only additions being a tiny pilot figure in the cockpit and the spinning prop effect which was airbrushed onto clear plastic.
