This model started out as a Matchbox "Alvis Stalwart BP Oil
Exploration
Vehicle." With the removal of the BP signage and the addition of some
sheet
plastic and spare parts, it became a "Lunar Exploration Vehicle." It was my first attempt at kit-bashing
in 1979.
